Dane knows the work inside and out from his many years working on the team and in the Alliance. Starting off in Hamilton as a sexual health educator at The AIDS Network, he has moved up to guide and coordinate the work of the Alliance across Ontario. He was instrumental in producing The Sex You Want, and has steered the team smoothly through the pandemic. More than anything, Dane fosters collaborations across the sector to improve the HIV response and sexual health more broadly for gay, bi, and queer men. This opportunity to bring together talented people from across the community to bring joy and support to queer men is what anchors him in his day to day. When not sitting in the Director’s chair, you can find him advising several different research projects, around the HIV Resources Ontario table, or working with an international team of chemsex responders.
