April 28 is the Canadian federal election and it’s coming up fast!☑️

If you haven’t noticed posters and billboards for DragTheVote.ca here’s a little introduction:

Drag artists across Canada are teaming up with @queermomentum to launch #DragTheVote – a national campaign to mobilize and empower queer people and allies to make their voices heard in the 2025 federal election. The queer community is under attack. Hate is on the rise.
That’s why we are building a movement to uphold freedom, equality and human rights. Join your favourite kings, queens and artists from across Canada as we DRAG THE VOTE:

👉 Here at @gaymenssexualhealthalliance we always say that voting is **one thing you can do** but it is not the be-all, end-all of civic engagement. You can also volunteer, organize, protest, fundraise, hold conversations, speak out and build community — these are all valid, powerful, and necessary ways to make a difference in the world!
