Overamping on Stimulants
Substances: Crystal meth, cocaine, MDMA
What to look for:
- Racing heart or chest pain
- Overheating or sweating heavily
- Panic, paranoia, or confusion
- Seizures or collapse
What to do:
- Help them cool down: remove layers, offer water
- Move them to a quiet, calm space
- Don’t restrain them or argue
- Call 911 if they pass out, seize, or can’t speak clearly
